Antique stoves by Ovne. All antique stoves have being meticulously reconstructed. In fact the antique stoves are so well restored that we sometimes have difficulty convincing people that these are  genuine, antique stoves not reproduction!

To the untutored eye, it seems a minor miracle that the antique stoves arriving at our restoration workshop could ever grace an elegant home again.  Dirt, rust, old paint and fire cement are removed and every crevice scoured.  All antique stoves are then bombarded with fine glass beads under intense pressure in a blasting chamber. Once pristine, any flaws are revealed and only those antique stoves suitable for complete restoration will go beyond this point.

Internal cast-iron grates and new firebricks are then fitted, all joints are fire sealed and every stove graphited and polished. Finally, all antique stoves are smoke-tested to ensure fume entegrity.

The result?  A unique, completely restored antique stove that makes a statement no reproduction ever can.  As an artefact, an Ovne Antique Stove will give hours of pleasure to the eye. What's more, as a practical appliance it will heat space efficiently and cost effectively.
